I was happy to come across this deal as Bosch have a good reputation for decent quality power tools. It was a good price at around half of RRP. Generally a good item, feels solid, well designed, good weight and balance. The built in LED is also a good design feature and I imagine it would be very handy when working in tight spaces. Haven t used it enough to comment on battery life, but seems plenty good enough for general DIY. Was initially concerned about visible sparks inside the casing at the motor, but have since realised this is normal and common to all drill/drivers.

They don t come much better than Bosch and Homebase s price was more than competitive. The cherry on the cake was having it delivered to my door. Great deal at a painless price.

Bought two years ago. Powerful and battery lasts a fair while. Drill blew up with lots of smoke pouring out. Hardly ever used. Going to buy a dewalt next.

I chose this product because I already had a product that used the same battery so now I can have one battery in use and the other on the charger. This is an excellent tool and does the job well. My only gripe is that you cannot leave the screwdriver bit in the chuck when putting it back in its carry case but that is really a very minor thing.

I purchased this Cordless Drill as a moving in present mainly because i didn t want my dewalt to go walkies.

I chose the Bosch due to price and previous reviews. I have used the drill a number of times to fix curtain rails, mount large pictures installing lighting units and it s been the ideal tool for the job.

It weighs very little which is great when it comes to any ceiling work or when it needs to be held above your head. The LED light which comes on when drilling is another little bonus.

I would of liked an additional battery with the unit to save on wasted charging time which is my only negative point.

Overall i personally think its a great little drill, it s ideally suited for indoor general D.I.Y usage and for the price i paid you cant really go wrong.
